About Us

Thank you for visiting our site.

Coeur d'Alene Worship Center (CWC) is a Church that believes in and strives to be a Book of Acts Church. Simply put, we are about two things: Jesus and People. We feel compelled to reach every person in Couer d Alene and its surrounding communities with the Love of God and the original New Testament plan of salvation as found in Acts chapter 2 verse 38.

Our Affiliation:

Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship

Our Purpose:

Our purpose is to be a Book of Acts church in our experience, message and lifestyle. This is fulfilled by worshipping God in every area of life, reaching the non-churched with the Gospel, maturing new Christians, equipping all beleivers for service in God's Kingdom and providing true community.

Our History:

CWC began in 1996 when Rev. & Mrs. Douglas Sergeant came to Coeur d''Alene to start a church.  When they came, they were blessed by being able to occupy an empty building. The Lord blessed their labors and grew a small congregation.  In November of 2002, Buddy & Jana Jones were installed as Pastor.

Since then...

The Lord''s Blessings:

Since 2002, the Lord has continued to bless.  The Lord has filled over 200 people with the Holy Spirit, re-filled several others and we have baptized about 175 people in the name of Jesus Christ.  About 75% of our growth has been from people commiting their lives to Christ. Our focus is reaching the unsaved with the intent of bringing them to Christ.

The Lord also allowed us to purchase new property adjoing our old facility.  We are thankful to God that we were able to build a new worship center on this property within 2 years of it's purchase.

In Spring of 2005, the Lord  opened the doors for Coeur d' Alene Worship Center to be in a position to move forward with the building of it's new worship center.  We broke ground in June with completion in late October of 2005.

From 2005 to the present the Lord has continued the bless.  CWC has hosted and sponsered the Coeur d'Alene Camp Meeting which began in 2007.  In 2009, the Lord opened the doors for us to use a large tent and rent out the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.  CWC is thankful to all the churches who have attended and supported this meeting.

As the Lord continues to grow His church, CWC is once again in the very beginning stages of looking for new property.  CWC is in preliminary discussions for a corner lot on a major artery in Coeur d'Alene.  Anything can happen, all CWC desires is God's will and  His perfect timing.  Please keep CWC in prayer.

It would be a priviledge to have you come worship with us.  May God bless you richly.
